Default Twitch TV Partners with Steam

Twitch TV, the well known streaming site for gaming related content has now announced that they have partnered with the Steam platform.

Steam users will now be able to link their Steam accounts to Twitch TV and it seems that DotA 2 players will get an especially special feature, in which they will be eligible for tournament item drops while watching Twitch TV streams so long as they own the ticket for that event.

It seems that this is just the beginning for this partnership and that we can expect many more features to come in the future. If you would like to link your account to steam right now then click here to go straight to the Twitch TV Connections section.

I use Twitch for things like Dev Casts and Closed Beta footage. That's it. After a game releases there's no point to pursue a stream.
