Thumbs up Battlefield 4 *Open Beta* on Intel HD Graphics 4600!

Battlefield 4 Open Beta - Intel HD Graphics 4600:

So, we've seen this game run on a crazy triple-monitor setup, but, how does it run on an HTPC that does not have a discrete GPU, and runs on less than 150W total!?

Good point, not a terrible good test. Still relatively good for an intel chip's on board graphics.

i have no clue why it doesn't work, but it seems to be a common problem for a lot of people. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, no luck though. it just doesn't continue from the loading screen.

mmmmmmm... this test should have been done in a high action sequence for it to be credible enough. More pixels on the screen and the game becomes far too jumpy to play. It's almost there as it is just in this video :-/. The one thing Intel does poorly is providing good (see: gaming) integrated video solutions on their processors.

i would prefer to see a "gaming-series" of their processors without iGPU.

Well it would certainly make sense with any of their unlocked chips, but to be fair the people that simply use the iGPU only need it to run a single monitor; hence there not being any need for them to be on the unlocked chips, since most who gravitate towards those will be using some sort of discrete video solution anyway.

exactly, the unlocked chips could be without iGPU since it's mostly gamer/enthusiast territory anyways(and none of us use them)...although prices would probably blow through the roof with a solution like that

You should watch the video all the way through, I tested different resolutions, including 720p. Check the About section of the video for timestamp links to the different sections.

I would be far more interested in seeing all the videos from people who have AMD's APUs.
I wish I could build pcs each and every single day for the rest of my life. PC FTW !
