Angry Not a good thing to do Steam/Valve!

Order of War: first game erased from all Steam user libraries - PC - News - HEXUS.net

So did anyone here actually have this game and been dealing with Steam/Valve on getting an explanation? The game could still be played as a single player game and yet they took it away from people. Erased right off their Steam accounts.
I wish I could build pcs each and every single day for the rest of my life. PC FTW !

Not good. I dont like that they would do this. No warning, no other options and apperantly no refunds to anyone that bought the game since they did it silently. This is why I resisted using Steam for so long. I just starting adding games to my Steam library about a year ago. Actions like this has me rethinking my alternatives. Steam OS? That is a def hells no now

No sh**, that got erased as well?

I figured that it would set a precedent, but the thing to realize here is that it is technically withing their legal right to do just that. You just lease the games you purchase from them technically; that doesn't mean that I CONDONE what they did, it's messed up, and they should at LEAST give a notice and an explanation behind why it was done when it is done, but it is what it is unfortunately. I'll still be using SteamOS just because of the potential performance increases it offers (especially once Mantle is implemented into more games... well... for AMD users anyway), but I will now be carefully monitoring my Steam library in case anything else changes.

This is why I am a huge proponent of physical media, yes, it may be "outdated" however in physical media, the game is yours. You can do with it what you will, you OWN it. With digital, all you pay for is the digital LICENSE TO USE, no one owns their digital games, they just paid for a license to use it. That's the problem with DRM these days, in order to protect from piracy, the legit consumer the gets the shaft.
