Increase fps in Counter-strike source but keep image quality!

Hey i know theres already a thread like this but casey's config makes the game horrible! this is a tweaked caseys config called johns fps booster it increases fps by atelast 40-50 fps!!!! i use and the game look almost the same try it out.

Just open a text document put this in then save it as a config file not a text docuemnt! then save it as autoexec.cfg then save it in steamapps/username/cstrike/cfg

well ive done caseys config and yours, and im still at an average of 20-30 fps . Does anyone have any idea how i could atleast get it to a constant 40?:confused: This has been annoying me as ive been looking at tips to increase fps for over a month now, and every one ive attempted has not made a difference:mad: I score 60-75fps in the video stress test, so why not in game?

the game has many variables that need to be dealt with.The vid stress test is pretty much like a video, its easy to render. it can make for odd results, in the video stress i always get around 41 fps, but in game a go from 30 to 75 (which it is limited at due to vertical sync)
to be honest im not sure why your getting such bad rates with your specs, unless thats a realy low graphics card (im not well up on nvidia).

EDIT: your card is better than mine, so i realy dont know why your getting such sucky frame rates.It could be the processor, with it being a single core 2.5ghz.
