    Default 5 Reasons why Apple should acquire Valve

    Toms Hardware;

    Valve’s Steam game distribution service for Mac is available now and officially introduces the Mac to a gaming environment only PC owners could enjoy so far. Conceivably, Steam for Mac has huge implications for gaming on the Mac, but for Steam as well and the more you think about it, the more it makes perfect sense that Apple and Valve are working together. In fact, why hasn’t Apple purchased Steam yet? Here are 5 reasons why Apple should write a check now.

    Acquire Valve, or acquire Steam? If they want Steam, Hell yeah, go for it. If they want Valve, they can go F-themselves. Jobbs and his retarded hypocritical "family values" whims would destroy any future Valve titles.

    Pfft, Tom's hardware.

    This is the same website that broke pins off an AM3 chip to see if it'd work in AM2, ran benches on an Athlon XP without everything plugged in and complained about stability, and tested chips without heatsinks to give Intel an edge over AMD when they were getting wrecked.

    I have 5 reasons why my ballsack is better than Tom's.

    acquire, in any case, meaning taking over.
    of course this would be disasterous for all the pc gamers, but i highly doubt that would ever happen.

    first valve is in good economic condition and they're still growing.
    second, a big part of steam users would boycot such move and they would loose money, so they wouldn't even consider that. in other words, apple is too late now.

    F"£K NO..have you seen the state of the app store no control and basically 1000/1 ratio of anything even worth looking at.

    STEAM apart from the pricing of new titles is stronger than ever, with great deals and some excellent indie titles, i buy most of my games off of STEAM just for convenience i usually have more than one PC on the go at a time, i put Steam on all of them and just load up my current favourites.

    Personally i cant stand Apple its all style over substance and i find it amusing when one of my customers tells me they have bought a Mac for £2000, which i know i could have made the same machine for £1500.
