Jake I know you have a handfull of the review to do but when you have a chance to retest these card on 10.12 driver. I'm assuming they were tested on 10.11?

yah...a little dissapointed that AMD is not trying to compete with the top dog.
Well, 5970 is still AMD fastest dual GPU card but soon or later Nvidia will snag the crown off them with their new dual card.

Well if the 6970 is Ati's top single gpu card there is big improvement than the previous 5870 although still cant beat then 580.Cant wait to see the dual gpu.

no doubt 6970 is much better than 5870 but 570 is better at the price point now. This is the first time I see Radeon cards cost more than GeForce cards though![]()

Ok, 6970 retailing for $370 (cheapest one) at Newegg, that's $20 over GTX570.

Performance wise the GTX570 is still the best deal for your money, plus you have to lok at ATI drivers, Nvidia always has better drivers and updates them more often. That being said Both the HD6970 and HD6950 are decent cards at a fair price.
Jake, I hit almost 39,000 at stock settings with the GTX480s at stock settings, have you tried the GTX580s yet ?
