Good review Jake, pretty normal for what we have already seen from the 6870. But I have to say that is one ugly cooler they threw on it, were they trying to save a buck by only putting on half of the cover?

ASUS is a company known for non-reference graphics card designs, and today's variant is no exception. What's unique about this 6870 DirectCU is that not only does it have a custom cooler, but it comes a factory overclock and voltage tweaking capability to push very high clocks as well, promising some great gaming horsepower with respectable temperatures and power consumption.
