OCZ is known for their SSD innovations, and the Vertex 3 looks to be another in a long line, sporting the new SandForce controller and promising big performance increases to what was already an impressive product in the Vertex 2 predecessor. Today we've got the Vertex 3 in a 240GB capacity. Big and fast; we love that combination.

I had my Vertex Turbo going on 6 months now and its sitting at 80% health.. which I think is okay.
Those SandForce SSDs are said to have better life though.

Thanks, I missed that, getting old, I appreciate the help. Thats really a great price for a system drive for me, and just big enough. I will couple that with a 1TB WD Black and be all set. ( Hdd related anyway, I still need the rest of system. Have to wait for the new LGA2011 or the new Sandy bridge motherboards, whichever comes first.![]()

Who is this Alan1476
Never heard of him, and why the 1476; birth year most likely since he sounds older than dirt and almost as old as Doc Death.
