Performance value is $5 per degree , based on NCIX pricing. However NCIX has $15 instance rebate at the moment for this cooler. So it makes $10 cheaper than NH-D14 therefore it's a best bang for the buck for this cooler at the moment.

Good review Jim, but I have to admit that if the D14 would have been tested with the 3rd fan installed, the Susanoo would not beat it.

    how about 920 at 4Ghz?

It's the actual tested result, it isn't from data. Pay attention to the ambient temp through.
Your ambient might a little bit higher than my.

it was only two fans and no I don't have it any more, I gave it back to Skyguy.

did you notice the ambient or case temp?

I think the position of those fans might make the differences when you comapre to the D14. If the case has mesh side panel I'm sure this cooler will have greater result.

    There's also not many cases around that will hold a 8.27" x 8.27" x 6.30" cooler, compared to the D14s 6.2" x 5.5" x 6.2"

Why do you need a D14? Jake shipped one to you. If you add a third fan to the D14 you will see that it will beat that 1c difference in temps.

did you notice the ambient or case temp?

I think the position of those fans might make the differences when you comapre to the D14. If the case has mesh side panel I'm sure this cooler will have greater result.
If you read the review..... the ambients were 21 and the test bench was my tech station.

Danielson, not the same setup and chip. The D-14 was from Jake database. Looking for precise accurate results since they are so close....:. Wax on wax off.
