    Default Crucial m4 256GB

The Crucial m4 256GB SSD contains an updated Marvell controller that continues to use a SATA 6G interface, able to take advantage of the insane speeds offered by the new standard. And at 256GB capacity, this drive looks to be big and fast.

Nice review Jake, but may i know what happened to page 6:

    "HDTune
HDTune Pro offers a robust set of benchmark tests and there are minor variances with SSDs when using HDTune, so dont treat these results as absolute and unchanging, but they do paint a good picture of whats happening with the Crucial SSD"

there is a new fw out 0009 and it gives huge performance increases. here is a 128gb m4 the seq. writes are slower because its 128gb vs 256gb but everything else stomps the review drive. here are a couple of benches i did on my friends drive

I would really like to see what the 512gb drive will do. I believe it would be very close to overtaking the sandforce 240gb drive WITH synchronous nand. yep if i could have any drive i wanted it would be the m4 512gb I believe it to be the best drive out there cause i dont like the way sf drives handle incompressible data.
edit: even the 128gb m4 is faster than any sandforce sata 3 drive see benches below
