    Default SilverStone Raven RV03

The SilverStone Raven 3 has been engineered for innovative heat dissipation, the fact that heat rises SilverStone has turned the motherboard 90°, and stacked all of the gear vertically rather than horizontally like what we typically see in other cases.

Very easy case to work in,you have to love the new PSU bay and HDD mounting on the back side of the motherboard tray, which elinanates most of the cable clutter, and lets not forget how well the 180mm AP fans work keeping your whole system nice and cool.

"At last check, the SilverStone Strider was being sold at for $160, which is a very good price for an innovative and unique case that’s one of the best mid-towers we’ve seen to date."

Ok, but how much for the RV03? I'm guessing it's a budget box based on materials. Well, it has USB 3.0 though, so a few extra bucks there. And those AP-180s are pretty expensive.

Can those tubing grommets be used without angled fittings?

Also, how do those HDDs mount to the backside? Can you replace a drive without pulling the mobo out?

I have the RV01 and it's an excellent case, I expect this one to be a bit better in the cooling department.

Earth, it's kind of hartd to miss the screws, there's 2-3 screw's on each tray, here's a photo with the each screws location marked with red lines.

No, I didn't see them. That makes much more sense; the HDDs attach to removable panels, not the mainboard tray. Thanks for clearing that up.

Great review and appreciate the all the nice pics to get a real good idea of the different design.Sure looks like there is plenty of room inside. No doubt about that. What I liked too is that this chassis seems to have plenty of room for some very neat cable management.I have a Silversone SG -07 it also has the 180mm AP fan and yep these guys can move some air.
Just a thought : the Raven RV 03 would be a real canvass for those mod guys with the skillz to get pretty creative.
