I'm still pleased by the simplistic appeal of the heatspreader design. Triple channel seems like a strange choice though.

Jim, you left her body in plain sight. Learn to hide the evidence better!

    Good review Jim.
I'm not sure if I trust this company yet considering the stellar performance that I'm getting with my Mushkin Redline and Blackline sticks. Also my GSKill Sniper and Ripjaws that seem to work well in anything I put them into.
Then there's the HyperX Sticks that I just won here, waiting for my next build. I don't see myself as having to buy RAM for a long time at this point.

VisionTek has a steep hill cluttered with aggressive competition to climb, and I think that it will take time for them to gain widespread acceptance.
From reading this review, all they have to do is to keep up with what they're doing, and maybe undercut the competition in prices until they're better established.

    I wish them success.

I agree with realneil if they can produce a reliable product cheaper than the competition they will do well. The heat spreader design isn't over the top either which is nice. I sometimes want my RAM not to look like a pistol magazine or a future ninja death weapon....

The nice thing is they are black. From The Asus Crosshair V, the Asrock Fatality which have black PCB and red detailing, these sticks would look killer. Gigabytes UD5 and UD7 on both Intel AND AMD side use black PCP with some gray and tan look awesome too. Don't forget ECS 5hat uses a dark motif too. Motherboards have migrated to a monochromatic look and black ties in great.

I had a bad experience with a VisionTek video card and their customer support team was non existent, at least for me, maybe they are a great comapny but I would never know it. Jims review was awesome and had I not had a bad taste in my mouth for Visiontek, I might try this RAM set.

You know that old saying,...."Once Bitten, Twice Shy"
I'm the same way with a company that does me wrong.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of known good RAM brands out there to choose from, and one company's bad customer support can turn people against that brand.
Maybe they've changed the way they do support? One could hope so.
