I realized a long time ago that a quality PSU is the backbone of any reliable PC. This goes for gaming PC's and budget models too.
Spending money for a quality PSU is the smartest thing you can do if you plan to use it yourself, or you have to back up it's quality for a customer in the future.
If I quote someone a price for a system, I build-in a SeaSonic PSU at the start.

This PSU costs $85.00 shipped and is well worth the extra money in quality.

A PSU can take out the majority of a system's components when it dies,.....(this has happened to me personally)......It's not worth it to save a little, when it could cost you a lot later on.

Agreed,....but one of the new PSU's on the market that impressed me enough to consider buying, was the new OCZ ZT series Modular PSU's.

I really like the way they look and their specs are great. Reviews are all favorable too.
