The Corsair Performance Pro 128GB SSD contains an updated Marvell controller that continues to use a SATA 6G interface, able to take advantage of the insane speeds offered by the new standard. At 128GB capacity, this drive looks to be affordable and fast, satisfying the top performance that enthusiasts crave.

Nice review John
Probably a good decision to go with the Marvell controller with all the recent problems with SF drives.

I am SSD poor right now, have to make do with the two M4s 256s and the Agility 3 240, and I am not even using them now. Still have a 240GB Vertex 2 on this system.
When I am finished reviewing all these X79 boards Stanley had sent to me I will be putting two LGA systems together for keepers and putting the SATA 3 drives to work then.

Good review and an enjoyable read Jon!
SSD drives are morphing faster than ever. Firmware improvements are out all of the time to make tweaks, and hardware advances happen just as fast too.
Prices are slowly coming down so that some of us can afford them in larger sizes now,......and that's something that I've wanted for a long time.
