If they're so close in performance, the way they look comes into sharper focus. The Noctua does not win in the looks department. The fans are a little fugly.

One comes with the 2011 mount and the other (Noctua) provides it for free upon request and proof that you have a 2011 board on hand. So that's not much of an issue at all, except for a possible wait for them to send you that 2011 mount.

    Let's see that review,.........

Agree that looks become a big factor when comparing these two coolers, since they have similar accessories and features, and cost about the same. However, the Noctua is more than a "little" ugly, it is done right hideous.

I see. Even the old ones get a free upgrade to the 2011 mounting if you contact them. That's a good customer relations move as I see it.

Cooler Master, Thermaltake, Swiftech, and Koolance will also update LGA2011 mounting for free, both Cooler Master and Thermaltake sent out PR as well as emails right before the release of the of the new LGA2011 boards,
letting people know about the new mounting kits. Noctua has always been great about this, I have to admit that they are fantastic company to work with.

By the way, I talked to them yesterday, they are sending their new NH-L12 Low Profile Cooler for review, I guess we should have the sample in 3-4 weeks, I believe the NH-L12 comes with a top 120mm and a lower 92mm dual PWM fan setup.

The NH-L12 looks interesting, I'm really looking forward to seeing how it performs. I always felt like the NH-C12P was the underachiever in the Noctua line, but I am hoping this turns into a more capable replacement.
