VisionTek is an AMD partner that typically produces reference designs, but these new cards have been tweaked, looking to produce better temperatures in a sleekly-styled package. Performance is one thing, but we're suckers for great value as well, so let's take a closer look at these graphics cards and find out if they can meet our expectations.

Great review, Jake. The 7870 is particular impressive. It goes head to head with the GTX 580 and is cheaper.
I'd like to see the test results for two 7850 in crossfire. Two of those could be bought for about the price of one 7970.

I agree, If a poor man wants crossfire, this may be the best deal to get it in a good way at the moment.
NVIDIA will saturate the market with competing product eventually, but this is now, and you ~know~ what they say,......Carpe diem!
BTW: I have a second XFX R7770 Core Edition card on the way from Newegg, so we'll know what they do in CrossFire soon.
