Sapphire now has the Sapphire Radeon 7770 Vapor-X for the masses. It certainly looks stylish, and the price is competitive. Nvidia doesn't have any Kepler products in its lineup to compete at this price point for the time being, so affordable graphics cards are ripe for the picking for Team AMD.

Very nice review and verry nice wallet freindly GPU.
ANy ideas how it would stack up against an older card like a 4870? Trying to see would there be any noticable differences after an upgrade or show I go higher into the 7xxx seriers.

I have a crossfire pair of 1GB XFX HD R7770's here.
Also, I have a 1GB Sapphire Radeon HD-4870.
Having used the first R7770 by itself for a month before getting the second one, I can say that it's a lot better than a 4870.
It's DX11 capable and it runs cooler too.
My Sapphire 4870 is an old warhorse, but newer technology trumps it.

That is what I wanted to hear. Thanks. I need to upgrade but Im on a limited budget and cant go out and spend hundreds on a video card.
So you heard it directly from realneil, He says I should be picked to win the Sapphire HD7770 Vapor-X!Jk
