Good Review Tony, and a Nice Res
I was somewhat disappointed seeing the warped cover with the gasket showing but being made from a mold
with no tooling its going to happen and somewhat expected. This is where QC comes into play during the assembly process.

Another thing I wanted to replace my Swiftech H20-330 Edge Kit.

I didn't expect any flaws therefore I didn't check the cover for flatness. I think it has something to do with seal ring channel depth, because I saw another pic floating around the net has the seal ring exposed at the same locations.
example: this image posted by Bundymania. See the little gap just above the outlet port.
I know the res pass the leak test but XSPC shouldn't passed it. Yup, they need to step up on the QC a little bit.
Alan, it's still a good kit.
BTW, have you guys see XSPC new Twin D5 Dual Bay res?

Thanks Tony but for some odd reason, when I changed from my Asus Rampage 11 Extreme 980X build to the X 79 Sabertooth build it didnt cool as well. ( The Swiftech Edge Kit)

Alan, that has nothing at all to do with the swiftech kit, it has to do with the chips. The 980X was a cool running chip, however the 3960X is a real hotbox compared to the 980X and 990X.

Alan; each chip's generation has different core and IHS layout, therefore some blocks are work better than other on certain chip. Overall, the Edges is still good kit, perhaps just change the CPU block but not abandon the entire kit. Like DrDeath said, SB-E runs hotter than the 980X.

XSPC always have the exceptional prices for their product.
I just noticed mine has that ill fitting top plate, I noticed because I found a sizable pool of water in the bottom of my case...
It had been running 100% for about 3 months, now the top is leaking all the way around the plate. I'm spewing. What should I do? I've tried silicone around it, gotta wait for tomorrow till its dry to find out if it worked :-(
Will they RMA it without the box cos that's long gone...
