    Default Sapphire 7770 FleX

We've seen a few other FleX models, notably the Sapphire 7950 FleX which proved rather worthy in terms of horsepower and cooling prowess. This 7770 FleX is considerably less powerful, so the beauty of Eyefinity gaming might also be a bit less satisfying. But what about price? At about $150, it looks like Sapphire might again have a good value card. We've typically found the Sapphire FleX cards to be very impressive, so let's take a closer look at the Sapphire 7770 FleX and see if it has the power to tackle Eyefinity gaming. 7770s game well in crossfire, (I have a pair of XFX 7770s here) but alone, they are a little underpowered.

    Good review.

    Great review Jake!

Not a bad card for those not looking to spend allot of money. If you get one now and want to add another later the Xfire will give it a nice little boost in performance.

There are a couple differences. First, the Vapor-X is clocked higher, so it'll give you slightly better performance. However, the major difference is the FleX model can do Eyefinity out of the box, the Vapor-X can't. UNLESS you have a DisplayPort monitor or expensive Active Adapter. The tech is already built directly onto the FleX model, so no extra costs or specialized hardware components required.

If you don't plan on doing Eyefinity, then the Vapor-X is better. If you want Eyefinity, grab the FleX model.
