Enermax is known for some premium power supplies, and the one we're examining today is no different: the MaxRevo 1500W. It's a beast of a unit, with an enormous amount of available power in a fully modular design. There's a price premium here, but does it have the top performance to match? Let's find out.

    Great review Jake
I love everything about this PSU except for just one thing
The cables are in my opinion butt ugly for that kind of money
I think they could have done a better job on the sleeves and color of cables.

The other problem with their cables, is that they can be big and bulky, especially the 24pin, but you can't argue that it's still a beast of a PSU with power to spare.

Great review Jake! I've got the Platimax 1200W for my HAF XB build and it's a beast! One thing I noticed about my Platimax and it seems the same on this MaxRevo is the fan guard. It doesn't sit flush with the casing but rather protrudes just a tad. I found that it won't fit into my HAF XB due to the height. I need to remove that fan guard for it to fit properly. Maybe something you want to add in as a note

Good point, it's not QUITE flush. Just a wee bit protruding. I'll update the review and make a quick mention of that. Thanks for the feedback!

No problem! I hadn't noticed it in any case I tried it in until I tried it in my HAF XB with the slide-in-from-the-back PSU mounting. My assumption is that it would have the same issue in the CM Elite 120 Advanced Mini-ITX chassis.
