Enermax has been well known for a while now, but lately they seem to be gaining even more traction with their line of CPU coolers, power supplies, fans and cases. Enermax has a long history of producing great looking and great performing CPU coolers. They just released two new versions of their popular ETS-T40 CPU cooler, the Black Twister and the White Cluster. Enermax was kind enough to send us their ETS-T40-BK Black Twister CPU cooler to take a look at so let's get to it!

Good review and a nice read Will.
I have a two year old Enermax ETS-T40-VD that came with the wild-ass programmable TB Vegas fan. (I ended up giving the fan away to a kid, who loves it)
I use the T-40 on an i7-870 Lynnfield system (OC to 4.0GHz) with two 120mm Enermax TB-Silence fans. It looks good and the second fan makes it work even better.
I was able to mount the front fan a little higher and clear the first RAM slot on my ASRock Mainboard using Mushkin Redline RAM.
It still moves a lot of air through it with the fan mounted a little higher.
The clearance to the top PCI-E slot is not an issue with my board, though all are a little different. With two good fans on this cooler, I get good cooling and quiet operation too.
I like this cooler better than my NZXT Havick 140.
