Default Cooler Master CM Storm Reaper Gaming Mouse

As anyone who games will tell you, your mouse will ultimately wind up making or breaking your gaming experience entirely. Be it the ergonomics of the mouse or the feel of the buttons as you click them, every detail matters when your virtual life is on the line, as well as the virtual lives of others. Cooler Master's CM Storm division caters to the gaming enthusiast that has such demands with various levels of product, ranging from mild to wild. At the top of their roster of performers is the CM Storm Reaper, which they have been kind enough to supply us for review.

The CM Storm Reaper is part of their new Aluminum Gaming Series of mice, boasting all of the niceties expected of a proper high performance mouse: an Avago 9800 sensor rated at 8200 DPI (dots per inch), Omron switches, macro functionality across all eight programmable buttons, and aluminum accent pieces to lend not only a truly premium feel, but to a certain extent a degree of customization not present for most mice. Does the Reaper deliver a product that is more than the sum of it's illustrious list of parts? Read on and find out!

Great review, good mouse, however I'll stick with my Logitech Comfort Laser Mouse (part of Logitech Cordless Comfort Laser Desktop), 3 years and no issue.

During gaming the scroll wheel was plenty fine to use Vinny. Typically the bare metal plus a sweaty finger would result in your finger sliding on the mouse, but the scroll wheel needs only very light actuation force to rotate it so I never had any issues with it.
