HTL just posted the G10 review, if you take a look at the results from there testing with a 290x and GTX770, temps are more in line with what we tested.
Keep in mind that the GPU used is diff, but give's a general base line on where they should be right about. The GTX770 was better by 20c wile the 290x seems to have done better.

I can beleive what HTL published. Those numbers actually make sense. The 290x benefited more then the 770 because the stock cooler on the 290x is terrible to start with so you will see a larger drop in overall temp. If they repeated the test with an aftermarket 290x decrease in temps would look more like the 770.

We know your numbers are correct and look good Kenny. Maybe someone over at LG faked the results so they could be first out the gate with the G10 review. Cant think of any other way to come up with those numbers. They have a AIO filled with DICE. lol

Glad you can believe me, Sandy. Fudging numbers isn't my thing.

I had already run my tests when I first commented that Kenny's numbers were in line, but that those others were a load of.....but, I couldn't say that outright until we launched our review.

Yeah, if they shot up that much there, the actual temps were likely much uglier.

No problem my man. You have given me no reason to think otherwise. Besides Paul would chop your nuts off if you fudged up as bad as those other numbers.

Nah, he just sings Prince songs at us when we misbehave.....a fate worse than your aforementioned castration, I might add. Besides, I am waaaaaaay too accountable to myself to post faked or "adjusted" numbers.

Haha that is just wrong. The US has rules against cruel and very unusual punishment! The singing of prince must stop!

I am with you my man. The day someone post fake numbers will be the last review they do for Pure. Lol bye bye!

We have chatted with some of the reps from Nvidia and AMD, and they have said that VRM safe operating temps from the VRM on each brand can range from 70c-90c without any problems at all.

Agree 100% Tee. Good review and good product too.

I have an Asetek 570LC here too.

Wonder if this would work with a Silverstone Tundra TD02? (nope, just checked)

Yup....and "we recommend heatspreaders for the VRM". If I didn't happen to like having my cards in one piece I would happily show off VRM temps above this. I was walking that line on the 290X at stock clocks in Firestrike, and the GTX 770 was probably over that line (damn I wish I knew some way to accurately measure it).......
