Default MSI GTX 760 Gaming MINI-ITX Review

We recently had the opportunity to have some hands on time with the feature packed MSI Z87i Gaming AC board. It had a small size but a large feature set and gaming potential. Today we wanted to look at the partner tech for the Z87i Gaming AC. That is the GTX 760 OC Gaming ITX GPU. We have seen the GTX 760 from various manufacturers with different cooling solutions but MSI claims to have made one which will fit perfectly inside a cramped HTPC or LAN PC case. This will leave the MSI GTX 760 Gaming Mini-ITX in a tight space to battle temps and fan noise, all while keeping FPS up. That is a tall order for any GPU, so lets not waste anymore time, and jump right into the review.

Great review Sandy. I definitely agree with the sentiment that this card is in a rough spot price-wise though... the GTX 760 was originally marketed as a 670 replacement, but I call BS: my girlfriend HAS a reference GTX 670 from when they were first produced (Galaxy GTX 670), and hers is about running on par with a 680 with hers boosting too 1105 MHz. These cards, if anything, are a cut down 670 that should have never been because the card makes nowhere near as much sense as the 670 did. I kind of feel like they did away with the 670 for that exact reason though x-D.

BUT... silver lining, performance is still decently good, it's uber tiny, AND it matches ALL of the MSI things (including the Blitz 1.1 memory for the gaming lineup by Avexir).

    Good Job Mr. Coco Lee!
The GTX 760 are slightly behind the GTX 670s, but they are really close performance wise.
Its true that the GTX 670 can perform close to the GTX 680. I've owned both and both are good cards.

I really like the SFF of the MSI GTX 760, great for those looking to build a small LanPC.

Thanks Fellas. For an AMD man I rather like this little bastard. I got some ideas for this bad boy too. I hope I can make it happen! Will be working towards making the most of this GPU. I give MSI one thing for sure. Every GPU I have got from them have been damn near silent. the MSI 660ti and now this one. I might have to start adding MSI into my GPU stable more.
