Default Enermax LIQFusion 240 CPU Cooler Review

Introduction Lovers of RGB have deserved a better CPU cooler for quite a while now. Putting an RGB fan on a tower is nice, but it’s hardly an effort worth noting. Other companies put a lot of thought into lighting up multiple aspects of a cooler, but the lighting is simple, 1 color at a time RGB lighting. Enermax is coming to our rescue by giving us the cooler we deserve, even if it is the cooler we don’t need. The LIQFusion 240 has all the earmarks of being a great looking cooler, but it needs to have cooling performance as well. Is that a pump on the hoses that I see? Lepatek Corporation an ENERMAX Company is an exclusive authorized supplier for ENERMAX and LEPA brand products for both North America and South America. Lepatek Corporation strives to provide only high quality products within the Computer Hardware & Components and Consumer Electronics market. Both manufacturers specialize in high-end computer components and peripherals e.g. (Power Supplies, Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, Fans, Cooling Pads and Audio equipment for well over 25 years through the Distribution, Reseller, OEM and ODM channel.

Josh is this an error on the charts last sentence? concerning performance on the LIQFusion, I'm confused!

The X62 has more cooling performance to give, but at the cost of really high fan noise.

Josh, no way that Kraken x62 has highest fan noise than LIQFusion 240 (Kraken 47 vs LiqFusion 49 dB ), despite this error very nice and proven Enermax quality, but somehow it looks pretty similar to Rajintek Orcus 240 (aesthetically and technically (cooling performance and noise)):

Ah crap! Let me figure out how to word that better. What I meant to say is, if you use the Full speed of the fans, the noise levels shoot up into the 50s. In my opinion, that noise level is unusable, regardless of the extra cooling it brings. So in the case of my tests, I'm using Performance mode, which means the fans max out at about 70%, and the noise levels stay in what I consider a tolerable range.

The LIQFusion on the other hand, since it isn't using software, is running at 100% fan speed, but still keeping tolerable noise levels. That's what impressed me about it's performance. Does that clear it up a bit? I'll wait for some replies, then edit the article after. I didn't want a 100% test added to the graph because it makes the charts look a little cluttered.

Best way to fix it is to just send it to me for the three-year torture-test.
