Default SilverStone AR07-V2 CPU Cooler Review

The AR07 is a solid looking cooler with quiet operation. Silverstone gives the buyer a unique budget option for the CPU, but cooling performance isn't as high as expected. This unit would be a solid upgrade to low-end stock cooler for sure though.

I would be curious to see how this would perform with a second 140mm fan installed good decent cooler for the money.

Yes, with the second 140mm fan the performance should be slightly better but not for much. I think, the biggest issue is that the cooler have only 3 heat pipes, it can't dissipate much heat. Also I would like to see comparison with Hyper 212 Evo which is in the same price range.

Yep saw that as well! that's why I suggested the additional fan.
And yes 3 pipes is right, that's all that contacts the CPU to dissipate heat other then the aluminum block surrounding those 3 pipes
but for the money you cant ask for much more then that other then maybe the second fan that is.
