    Default Sapphire Radeon 4770

AMD made a push to reach the 40nm GPU milestone, and they have accomplished that goal, fabricating a chip that should run cooler and draw less power than its predecessors. Sapphire is one of the companies at the forefront of the 40nm market, and we have one of their Radeon 4770 cards fresh off the production line. But the question remains: does it push great framerates? Let's find out.

Thanks guys! This was probably the most comprehensive one I've done, particularly with all those tests; I blew an entire weekend benching hehe.

Awesome card for the price, ATI has done an outstanding job on the 40nm here. Nvidia doesn't have anything to reply with except for price cuts.

So two of this in Crossfire will be close to a single 4870 for the same price or cheaper.
Pretty good, this is make mid range users very happy.

Unfortunately I don't have a second 4770 on hand to test that, but from what I see, 2 of these easily beats a 4870 and even a 4890.
