Default ASUS GeForce GTS 250 Dark Knight

The ASUS GeForce GTS 250 Dark Knight is a graphics card that not only houses the smaller 55nm GPU, but also sports a very interesting non-stock cooler from ASUS that looks to provide even further cooling. Paired with the die shrink, the Dark Knight could post some very impressive results, both in terms of gaming performance and framerates but also cooler temperatures and a quiet fan setup. What's not to like about cool and quiet gaming prowess on the cheap?

I'm not very fond of GPU cooler fans that circulate hot air around in the case, I like the blower types that sucks in cool air and blows hot air outside the PC case.

Excellent review, cards performance was not bad at all. It's to bad smart doctor would not work, hopefully we will be able to find the problem and have it working for our next Asus review.

Well the flipside of this cooler is that it keeps the GPU cooler to begin with, not to mention it runs much quieter. So if you have good air circulation in your case then it shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, you run a stock cooler than actually increases temps and is noisier. Are those higher temps less of a problem than the cooler ones with a better cooler?
