    Default ASUS Maximus III Extreme

The ASUS Maximus III Extreme is a motherboard that brings a host of innovations and value-added features that make for a very enticing product. Perhaps most important, however, is that the MIIIE is designed for hardcore use by demanding enthusiasts who want to extract the most out of their system. To put that notion to the test, we decided to have some fun with dry ice and -65°C overclocking. Working with only a Beta BIOS, we managed to post some extremely impressive numbers. How impressive? Read on to find out how just how beastly.

Nice review, and some very nice work form Asus. Almost enough to make me consider an Intel build.

Thanks for the heads up, I have been considering upgrading to a quad core and that may just be what I use.

I reckon you wouldn't need to both disable cores and hyper-threading. Just hyperthreading ought to do it.

    Nice overclock!
