Generally well known for their water cooling products, Koolance is looking to delve into the rather niche market of extreme cooling. Certainly not mainstream, the sub-zero enthusiasts are a rabid bunch (and we include ourselves here at PureOC in that group) and very particular about things such as cooling pots. Koolance first dove into the market with their LN2 pot, and now have released the successor, the Koolance CPU-LN2-V2, which is more of a design overhaul than a new version.

It works from the main page for me. Great review Jake i really enjoyed the how to stuff, it made it easier to understand the whole idea of going to extreme cooling rather than just trying to picture it from what was read the video was pretty good as well. Very well done, Koolance did a good job considering the price point of this LN2 pot.

Think that's the first time I've seen a review wander so far into Guide territory. Right on.
Is this your first full-fledged pot review, Jake? Can't remember seeing any others listed in the review codex.

Hey Earth,
I wanted to do something a bit different for this review that other people might find helpful. Due to the nature of this product, it lends itself well to more of a review guide rather than a more typical "here it is, ain't it nice?" sort of thing. The other thing is that a pot is almost impossible to "test" like, say, a graphics card where empirical numbers in a repeatable setup can occur.
Yes, this is our first pot review simply because there aren't many out there at all, and certainly not by a "brand name" manufacturer. I have the original Koolance pot here as well but never managed to put out a full review on it unfortunately.
I think this is a huge improvement for Koolance, but more importantly as I mentioned in the review, I think it offers excellent value to novices for what you get. Fingers crossed for Koolance to design a V3 that has a top-mount design![]()
