    Default Crucial C300 256GB SSD

The Crucial C300 256GB SSD contains the Marvell controller that utilizes an SATA 6G interface, able to take advantage of the insane speeds offered by the new standard. And at 256GB capacity, this drive looks to be big and fast, satisfying the top performance that enthusiasts crave. Not only that, but it also comes with a price that is very competitve on a per gigabyte basis with the other SSDs on the market.

Good review, Crucial did a really great job with the C 300, expensive yes, but you do get what you pay for in return.

Just saw a deal posted on the Crucial M225 256GB. It's not as fast as the C300 on read speed, but it's still damn fast, and it's on sale now for $400 after coupon directly from Crucial. See this logicbuy thread for info.

True it is Indilinx, but if you're looking for storage more than ultimate performance, then this is the cheapest per GB drive on the market today. I personally have a 60GB Mushkin Callisto Deluxe (Sandforce 1200 with 50k IOPS), but that's what serves MY needs.
