Re: I dont know any more at my limit

Sometimes a child throwing a tantrum requires some scolding.

And what purpose did his post serve? I'd say he was baiting. Must be a troll.

Re: TIM question for all Pure OC members

I haven't used a pre-applied TIM in a decade or more. I always wipe it away and clean the surface before applying third-party TIM.

Part of the reason is a distrust for unknown, random substances....

Re: I dont know any more at my limit

You want some cheese to go with that whine? You must have been drunk to vomit up that rubbish.

Could be that you aren't entering enough contests.

    Re: Random Thoughts.

All these companies vomiting up AIO liquid coolers are causing me to laugh involuntarily. They're like the gypsies at an Arizonan flee market, all trying to shovel the same cheap garbage at the...

Re: Looking for folks from the UK

Christmas is coming and I'm broke, so no interest unfortunately. Probably be best to just tell them you won't be "home" until after the holidays, and that they should give the prize to the next...

Re: Looking for folks from the UK

I'm in Norway, but Norway is usually excluded from "European" contests thanks to that retarded EU business. Regardless, shipping charges to Mexico from UK would be pretty crazy.
  8. Re: Will these be enough to cool my GTX 580 SLI?

Cool them, yes, but not well. SLI 580s are just beyond a 240's capacity. Opt for the 360, or at least the 280, if you can.

    Re: Random Thoughts.

Got to have a cooler cutout regardless. That has nothing to do with removable trays. Personally I just think they realized people don't change their systems enough to warrant the feature.

    Re: Random Thoughts.

You guys remember that span of three or four years where every new case touted a removable motherboard tray? What happened to that? Now you only find trays on top-tier aluminum cases.

Re: A Long Goodbye To Scythe ?

Never cared about Scythe's coolers. They were cool looking (no pun intended) but I had no use for them. I do however wish I'd picked up a Fenris Wolf back in the day. Despite it being so flimsy, it...

    Re: First waco setup

As long as your reservoir is directly before your pump, your loop order doesn't even matter. The temps will achieve a constant after a while.

    Re: Random Thoughts.

This is really a generation of disposable youth, supporting disposable products, made by disposable companies, among their disposable friends on disposable social hubs. Gone are the days of higher...

Re: What do ya think of this case.

Fractal doesn't make any of their own cases. Not one. They use OEM's in China, and it sometimes shows, such as in this example. They've taken a WiNDy contour, rolled it out with a Lian Li front mesh,...

    Re: Coolant vs no coolant

I use distilled and silver coils. Zero issues.

I used Feser coolant once in the past, but upon tearing the system down, there was a thin, slimy film on everything that disgusted me. So much...

    Re: Cougar Challenger

Cougar has, in the past, released some decent cases. This is simply not one of them.

This case, done correctly, is the Aerocool Mechatron. Cougar has entered with a no-frills version of the same...

For the same reason you turn off the light when laying down with an ugly woman. It's harder to see the obscenity, and thus easier to forget.
  18. Re: Intelís Haswell Could Be Last Interchangeable Desktop Microprocessors - Report.

Good find Xelosia. If Intel goes the way of integrated processors, that leaves a wide enthusiast market for AMD to make advances in. Bet they're eying that pie.

I'm gonna assume it's just a FrozenQ tube res. 3/16" is more than adequate for a tube res. 1/4" for a bay res.

Re: Apple granted a patent for page turning

In my opinion, all patents relating to mobile devices granted in the last five years should be annulled. And suspended for the next five years. This **** is just getting too damn crazy.

Re: Apple granted a patent for page turning

Apple is going to have problems with citations of prior art. We've had digital page turning in games, for like, 15 years. The only difference here is using your finger to drag the page rather than a...
