Well, this sucks. I feel for all the people who ran out and bought 990FX boards in anticipation only to get boned. I'm now glad I bought the cheap stuff. This Deneb will last me a while.

I didn't realize the quad core was so cheap. Hopefully this design will help their margins.

I'd love to see someone do Thuban VS FX 6100 and Deneb VS FX 4100

AMD's prices will tank. This is just skimming pricing for now. They're goin to wait for the people willing to spend $250 on this to buy it, then it'll drop, just like Agena.

If your cooling is good enough and you don't care about your power bill, the ghetto turbo feature AMD uses in Thuban is easily trumped by a 5...

At stock, the cores getting boosted go up however many bins, and the cores being throttled go down to 4X IIRC, so you'll see 3.5ghz and 800mhz as the running frequencies during turbo.
