    Re: Re-using Motherboard Waterblocks

Look forward to see you build with you finish the upgrades.
Id like to get an X99 system too. Might have to go whore myself on the corner for a bit. That would take care of the board. Not sure what...

  3. Re: Corsair Announces Vengeance LPX High-Performance DDR4 Memory

Im excited about DDR4 potential but not at the early release products. 4gb and 8gb sticks are normal, the speeds are about what we have now. voltages are still close to what we have now. In a few...

    Re: Ram speeds poor

Since it is an AMD system it may be listed as AMP instead of XMP. Either way it would by under the OC tab in the UEFI bios.
  5. Re: Warlords of Draenor might not be so bad

looks interesting and I am sure I would enjoy it. However I am not the one to buy a game then pay a subscription to play it. Suck it! lol If I did it would be for FF online or Phantasy Star Online.

    Re: Ram speeds poor

You will have to go into the bios to manually set the timings and speed of the memory to get the 2133mhz speed. As of now it is using the default memory settings of 1333mhz. Once you get the timings...

  9. Re: need help modding full cover waterblock

True, If he goes at it too hard the metal will heat up and cause some problems. I say have a fan pointing at it and go medium rpms on the dremel.
  10. Re: need help modding full cover waterblock

Oh now I see. Dremel with a grinding wheel would be a good idea. File by hand would take a long time and look like sh*t. Whatever you decide to use, keep checking fitment. Grind a little check. grid...

  12. Re: Pre-order prices of Intel Haswell-E processors

Re: MSI Z97 SLI Krait Edition

Its pretty amazing it has taken companies so long to do something this simple. The white can really be any color you want it to be by place LEDs inside the case at certain places.
  14. Re: need help modding full cover waterblock

This would be the first time I seen someone attempt to cut or mill down any part of a waterblock to make it fit a non ref gpu. I would not get my hopes up of being successful. Most times there are...
  15. Re: Pre-order prices of Intel Haswell-E processors

Which one? The entry level 6 core or the Monster 8 core?

personally I can see myself investing in the 6 core. Cant go any higher than that. $1100 for a CPU is just plain insanity

  20. Re: AMD shows off the guts of its first ARM server chip

  21. Re: AMD shows off the guts of its first ARM server chip

It has already proven to be more effective in the server world compared to desktop PCs and notebooks. The weak cores running desktop applications struggled in single thread performance. The Opterons...
