I tested several programs a while back.
Here's a graph showing the achieved average core temperature minus water temperatue for the last ten minutes of a sixty minute run for each program:

I have indeed been busy lately. And I'm still busy so stay tuned for more test-reports. :)
The heaters are called "JEBO HT-600" and I got them from eBay in Germany. No idea where else you can get...
That plastic thingy is for processors with two dies like the core2 CPUs. So, for example, a Core2 quad processor actually consists of two dual-core dies and there is some space between them...
Forgot to add a graph in the third post. I'll edit it in right away.
I never tested the HK on a 775 CPU, but someone in a German forum did: http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/showthread.php?t=549569
In short: The HK 3.0 was the best among the tested blocks on a...
Thanks, bullydog.
You should read my post more carefully. ;)
All the temperatures shown are load temperatures (no use bothering with idle temps). They are all calculated from the CPU temperature...
Thanks, Deton.
The GTZ will be added later. The European Swiftech distributor was kind enough to send me the 1366 mounting kit for the GTZ, so I can do the test runs with it on the new rig also....
And this one too, just in case.
Temperatures
Finally, let's take a look at temperatures achieved. (all temperatures shown are the differences between CPU and water temps)
Here are the three runs in the optimal orientation for...

Flowrates
I simply measured the flowrates achieved in the...
Hi everyone. These past few weeks I've been doing a lot of test runs for waterblocks on the Core i7. Today, I can present the first set of results.
Thanks to XSPC and Aqua Computer for providing...
Those are the actual flowrates I got in the test loop.
I tested to see if flowrates make a difference to the temperatures and it seems that for pure radiator testing, it makes no measurable...
*Update*

Note: I've been told that the HTSF shouldn't be this restrictive so it will be cleaned and retested later on.
Ah, that's interesting.
I'll wait till they're done with the revision, then I'll think about getting one for the test. :)
Thanks for that list. See, the Swifty is a lot cheaper in the states than over here. Here, the Magicool or the XSPC RS (will be tested later) offer better value.
Here's the price comparison in Euros, as listed on Aquatuning.

I think some of the prices are very different in the states, though. And I really don't...
Unfortunately, Koolance wont sponsor me. :(
I.e. I don't have a 350 yet. The situation on the 350 is currently this: Hondacity reviewed it in some english forums and found it to perform very well....
Testing method
There are two main components to how I tested these radiators:
1. Heaters

Triple-Radiator roundup
As some of you have seen in the pics section, I was graced with quite a selection of triple-radiators that I got to test.
First, here's an overview of all the radiators...
I have only one thing to say, or rather show to you:

Thanks for the feedback, guys.
The GTZ will be tested later on. Since Swiftech give very detailed instructions on how it should be mounted, I'm not planning to test more than the recommended...
Hi guys!
Just a short report here.
I tested the EK Supreme on an i7 920 with two different orientations to see if it made a difference.
This is what the test-systems consists of:
- i7 920...
Thanks, mate.
About the TFC (Feser) X-Changer 360: I tried to get a hold of one to include in my testing, but no luck. Feser won't send me any samples, they aren't available anywhere in...
Hey guys.
I know I haven't been around here much and I haven't had anything to contribute for quite a while either. But now, review-samples have started pouring in again, so today I have something...
