    I think 900/1200 core/mem is achievable....

I have MSIs 5770 hawk and havent really pushed it to the limit yet, but I just threw some values in and it could handle 930/1300. I think could go higher, but as I said, I havent yet tried to find its limit.

I did 1h of furmark and temps were around 60C, cant remember for sure.

What would you guys say are the max safe temps?

GPUs can take really high temps, so don't worry about it till 90C or so.

I haven't really OC'd much. My Asus could do ~1Ghz core/1300mem for short bench runs. DrDeath has it spot on, as does VJP. They have some headroom, but I'm not sure of how well they scale with OCs. I've heard it isnt much.
