make sure they are crossfired. You can control the fan speed in CCC.

So my second 6950 finally got here today but when I installed it I found that I can't control the fan speeds on the second card with TriXX, anyone know how to fix it?
EDIT: In CCC it says 0 for the speeds and such and 20% for the fan, problem???
EDIT: I found that the shadders have not been unlocked, I will try the other position. If it doesn't work can I flash my first cards bios to the second?

I took the bios with unlocked shaders from my first card with GPU-Z, now what utility would you recommend to flash it? ATIWinFlash wouldn't let me because it said the BIOS was already installed (Probably because both bios' called the card a 6950).
(Following that doing it through DOS with force flash should work but how do I know what card is being flashed?) Nvm figured it out

Woun't show up as 1 and 2 as to the cards, But 0 and 1, 0 being the first card.
Been awhile.

Going back a year, But I am pretty sure.
0 first card/1 second card.
Save the old Bios in CPU-Z to someplace you remember, Just to be safe.
You have the Dual Switch Bios anyway, Right?

If problems, Just shut off, Flip switch and power back up.
Nice saving the Bios with third part app though, Just in case you need it.
Only card I ever bricked was a AGP radeon card and thats because only had 1 AGP slot then.
Although could have brought it back on another Comp with duals.
Good Luck.

Chips would be the same.
Where did you get the Bios from?
(Just Noted), came from original card.
Might research another Sapphire Bios as they are out there.
Footnote:
Instead of Trixx have you tried AB as to fan control and or reload drivers as your fan control issue??
