Here are my scores with my newly crossfired systems. Note that I didn't run on basic because it won't utilize both GPUs unless I run in fullscreen.

    resolution: 2560x1440, full screen
    Quality: Ultra
    Tesselation: Extreme
BTW, looks like the benchmark uses only 2 CPU cores. Unless they are overclocked they are the bottleneck at lower resolutions (Speed of sending commands to the GPUs)

Whatever the screenshot says, all GPUs cranked up their power/temp during the run.

    As written above:
The bottleneck at this setting is the frequency of the CPU, not the number of CPU cores.
Looking at PerfMon, the benchmark only leverages 2 threads, so whatever your GPU performance is, there is a limit on the CPU side when a certain threshold on the overall performance is reached.
Another "evidence": The fps at this setting don't go up when the GPUs are overclocked, but do when the CPU frequency is set higher.

Any pointer how to enable more CPU threads/cores with the benchmark?

    Hi Andy

I'm in the middle of transfering the system to another case, once it's up and running Ill use the same settings you did, and make sure I use my Dell 27" which has the same 2560 x 1440 res as yours. I also have a 30" Dell with 2560 x 1600 but in this last test I used a 27" with 1920 x 1080P
Just to be clear, you did have the 4 Titans running in Quad SLI ? Can you please do me a favor, if you have 3DMark11, can you please run it and add your score to our 3DMark11 DaTA Base. I plan on building a new water cooled X79 3970X system in the new Corsair 900D, and would like to
add either a couple of HD7990s or two GTX Titans, so I'd like to see how your cards perform in Quad SLI compared to my 690s in Quad SLI, If you have the new 3DMark, can you please run that also.

    Thanks Andy

    Hi Andy.
This thing made me curious. The reason for the cards was for computational problems, not for graphics. Nevertheless, I wanted to know how they would perform with graphic tasks.

    To your questions:
    1) Yes, a quad SLI connector was on the cards. I am currently installing a fresh copy of Win7 to eliminate all possible influences my existing OS might have introduced in the numbers listed above. After installing the NVidia driver 314.22, a message popped up, that this SLI connector in use might reduce performance. It is the one accompanying the Asus X79 WS motherboard. I did not know that there are seemingly different 4-SLI connectors around - or it is just a false possitive error message. I'll see when the setup is done.
    2) I did license both 3dMark benchmarks (11 and 13), happy to provide numbers

    cheers,
    Andy

Strange results, I wouldn't trust them (or the config).

Config like above. All CPUs/GPUs at stock frequencies. 1333 MHZ RAM
    Geforce 314.22 driver
Don't know why I could not enable PCI 3.0 with the NVidia patch, system ran in PCI 2.0 mode

    3dMark - Performance: P26124
    3dMark - Extreme: X14900

According to the result database, the CPU kept running at 1500 MHz and the shaders at 575 MHz. Any idea why?

    3dMark13 - Ice Storm: 131908
    3dMark13 - Cloud Gate: 32226
    3dMark13 - Fire Strike: 2867
NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3930K Processor,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P9X79 WS

Results with a single Titan (just disabled SLI, so the card is still connected with an PCI v2 x8 slot)

    3dMark11 - Performance: P12856
    3dMark11 - Extreme: X4674

    Ice Storm: 166669
    Cloud Gate: 28803
    Fire Strike: 8890

Did not have time to look into root causes.

Hi Andy, that's a strange message that I've never seen before, and I was running 4 GTX 680s in Quad SLI for a couple of months. Did it come from Asus or Windows ? I'll have to go back and check my results, but I do remember finding the new 3DMark results kind of strange. For instance, in Ice Storm two HD7970s in crossfire X gave me a score of 180,000, while the two 690s in Quad SLI came back with a little over 140,000. Later on today I'll have to check my 3DMark11 and Vantage scores.
