    Default not ocing

this is not an ocd card set, just curious what exactly would be the % differance in performance.

say i had A nvidia card. if i add another just like it, would I get a 25% in crease in overall performance?

if your drinking put your beverage down, if your eating put your food down, if you have a weak stomach, or are prone to violent fits of outrageous laughter do not continue,

this is the actual card i am thinking of

Running SLI or Crossfire does NOT give you an 80% increase lol your lucky if you see 30% -35%. Ive been running SLI, Tri SLI, and Quad SLI for years, in fact I'm running Quad SLI system right now, also a Crossfire X system with Dual 7970s.

To answer your question, it can vary with every component added up in your system. Some boards can crossfire better then others.
While also the bigger question would be how matured the drivers are on the graphics cards.

Some drivers don't play well with multi card set ups.. while others will work wonders.
On avg. ppl will see a gain of maybe 10-30% and some as high as 40-50% gain, but again, this can vary on a number of things.

Most importantly is, will your CPU bottleneck before your GPU.
and also driver maturity as the primary concern for most.

    Example: AnandTech | Bench - GPU11
And another: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 SLI Review | techPowerUp

30-35%, but 670s are good in SLI.
