lol ...honestly, i have no clue...i ran it like 7 or 8 times and the lowest i got was mid 140s. I have another card, EVGA gtx 760 SC w/ ACX and it scores 148FPS. Funny thing is, the GTX 580 i bought is REFURBISHED. See it here at microcenter site: EVGA 015-P3-1580-RB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1536MB PCIe 2.0 x16 Video Card - Refurbished 015-P3-1580-RB - Micro Center ...it's still on sale for $180

Generaly good score (little bit low on CPU). Your 2600K is OCeed?
PS. Looks like nobody can beat this good oldie (is it possible).

No, it's not OC'd at this time. It's native speed is 3.4GHz and I usually run it at 4.0GHz. Just added a new mainboard, case and cooling solution, so running at stock for a while to make sure it's OK.

Now know the reason. Think once OCeed to 4.8GHz you'll pass the 1000cb mark (CPU), and OpenGL will be better too.

Wow , surprisingly low CPU score, especially for one 980X. Very good GPU score.

I OC'd to 4.6GHz and got a little better score. Good news is that temps are very good with the OC going on.

See, 21% higher GPU Score and 14% CPU score.
With 2600k you can easily go for 4.8GHz, passing this mark and go for ie 5.0Ghz will drastically increase CPU voltages and temps too (but that also depends of your CPU example). I had my i7 2700K OC'd to 5.0GHz (24/7), with VCore +0.040 (offset mode), and max stress temps never go over 78C.

Hey guys, I think there's something wrong with cinebench r15. I see many of you have far more powerful gpu than I have and yet my gpu scores for both gtx 580 and gtx 760 are higher. Doesn't make sense to me at all. I think they need to revisit the cinebench coding.

    evga gtx 580 = 146fps to 154fps (stock freq)
    evga gtx 760 = 140fp to 148fps (stock freq) / OC'd = 156fps

Interestingly, FRAPS is showing the same numbers while running cinebench
