5.05GHz is good too. (and stability is worth slowing it down a tiny bit)

    Intel Xeon L5640 @ 3.57GHz
    R9 280
    OpenGL: 92.92FPS
    CPU: 749cb
    CPU Single Core: 114cb

I do have my chip OC'd to 4GHz, but since it's an "L" series, it down-clocks under the full load of 3 or more cores.

My old i7-2600K is still squeaking along nicely too.
I7 CPUs are pretty cool. I have an i7-870 CPU and ASRock Motherboard sitting on the shelf.
I guess it's retired, but nothing's wrong with it.

Maybe I'll turn it into a Linux box.

i7 860@4.2. I'm able to get up to about 4.6, but my Noctua uh14s just can't keep it cool enough with HT on. I'll be getting a x58 board and x5650 for a very good price. Should be quite an upgrade.

Here's an i5-4670K at stock 3.4GHz speed. (this H81 board will not OC worth a crap) It had already throttled down when I took the screenshot and that's why CPU-Z says I'm at 799.81MHz speed.
It's good to see that FX-8350 clocked at 5.1 GHz too. How are temps at that speed?

Also have an old i7-2600K system running at 4303.62MHz. I have to replace this CPU and Motherboard with a Z97 board and i7-4790K that I have on the shelf. (no time yet) As you can see, the i5 beats this one on single core mode.

And last, here's a i5-4690K system that beats both of the others.
