    sh**...
I can see the score now. He fixed the image with a high resolution one, it's just jump right out off my monitor into my face.

Well, you always get high score with XP. You will loose up to 5k points with Vista.
We should have 2 sets of score reports for XP and Vista seperate.

Never test this current system (see specs) on xp but for the same card(8800gts 640mb), C2D E6600 @ 3.8Ghz, Asus P5W-HD Deluxe, 2Ghz ram - scored 19328 on 3DMark05.

With this current system I got around 10k..ish for Vista Premium 32bit on 3DMark06 trail version.

Edited: for imageshack; select images that you want to post, click on get code for forums. It will automatics give you a click able thumbnail.

just a curious question, why did you choose HD2900 over HD3780?
I know it a little bit cheaper but the HD3xxxx are dropping prices and they performance better than HD2xxxx series.

I believe 8800GT out perform the HD2900 and the HD3870 is on par with the 8800GT and HD3870 Xfire beat the crap out of 8800GT.

    Default My best (so far)

    Thats 13,602 on an E6550 @ 3.3ghz, 4x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC-8500 @ 944mhz, 1xBFG 8800GTS 512 OC @ 800/1984/2100

It seems others are getting much better scores on similar or even lesser hardware. I assume there are some software tweaks people do to maximize their performance, but I haven't found any specific references to what everyone is doing. Anyone care to share some performace enhancing tips?

Hey Jameson, are you going to create that sticky?
