I agree with grumpy and jameson all the way. I'm just not a strong enough writer to put it into a sentance.

Also I hadnt seen your "snap on" mod. Very nice!

I think the product is clever and very innovative (being traceless). now that i have been educated lol

but that brings up another issue entirely really. It's a common rule amongst heavy overclockers that if you break your hardware, you should not RMA it. So though i agree, the untracable mod element of this is cool, and is going to rack up sales, well, i certainly don't agree with anyone using this mod, frying their card and RMAing it.

If you can't accept the risks involved in a volt mod, don't do it.

but voodoo, don't get me wrong, your mod is one of the best i've seen if i ignore the price. When you move away from ebay and use a fixed price, perhaps we can take up look officially if the price is right.

I've noticed you visit occasionally so.....Out of curiosity, what is the effect of your mod on factory overclocked cards? Any differences in behavour?or is it just more of same?

837 core on a 8800gt? with stock cooling... i think someone is full of **** that chip would be ready to explode if it was running that fast. that or the fan is on 100% and i about to die.

event with the chip is capable to operates over 100c, I still don't like it with air cooling. That's a boiling point for open air of H20.
Amazing how hot is the case and the Southbridge?

note that that 97c was with the fan turned way down... shouldn't get that high with the fan running normally. I'd have to say that looks pretty sweet. The ability to voltmod without making any physical changes is awesome.

hey voodoo.. make one for the 3870!
