    Hello,
I am not sure what is causing my computer to freeze after several minutes of gaming. This happened recently. Is it caused by my graphic card or memory, I don't know? Here is my spec. THanks

    MB: Asus P5Q Pro
    Memory: 4gb DDR2 PC6400 Crucial

Try downlocking, if its smooth then, then it is your overclock. If its still crashing, then either ventilation is not sufficient in the case or there is a hardware problem.

Yes, instability is usually a temperature or voltage issue. Check those to eliminate the possibilities.

First off, what game is it that you are referring to? Also, what type of cooling does your case have, along with the CPU? I have noticed that the brand of PSU you have is kinda "off-brand".. yes i see that it has more than enough power to run your set-up. But if the quality isn't there, you could be suffering from lack of amperage on the 12v rails. If you know how to test the PSU, I would look into that and see if its actually doing well. Also check the rails and see what the amperage is. There are alot of conflicts that could cause this problem for you. Hell... could even be a driver issue.

You have downloaded SP3 (service pack 3) to your computer? Some games may have problem with this. How to check do you have it? -> windows start button(bottom left) -> run ->write; sysdm.cpl [enter]. Then it should show. If you downloaded SP3 with"accident"(due automatically updates) you can try to uninstall it and then test do your computer do the same error. Also check is the GPU fan broken or working ok. And check the GPU temperatures. Plus;you can check do your game need SP3..some games nowadays needs SP3 to work functional. Last what comes fast on mind, you have updated the graphic card drivers? Some games need newer than original ones what comes with CD. Google helps to find drivers and when downloading drivers, only you need to know is your OS and GPU. Memory timings correct? Memory's in correct slots in motherboard? And if you think power supply is not working correct, find something what conduct, put another side in green connector and another in black connector(make sure power cord is plugged and psu is ON (1) position) If the psu fan moves, then psu works at least as much it moves the psu fan..hmm..scan computer for viruses and spyware/malware for make sure its nothing that kinda problem.. ..and if nothing help, you can download memtest and test your memory. I have own experience of broken memory and it appeared to me same way like you have..computer froze..so if you have error(s) in memory test, you need to contact warranty ASAP, if you still have warranty on memorys.. :]
