My Buddy sent me some pics of the process, we had a little bit of delay in paint due to the rain last week. But he's been working on them and keeping me updated.
Here are some pics of the process we are in, this is the first stage of paint, the pearl and clear coat hasn't gone on it..

Got the case back tonight from my buddy, I will need to use my DSLR to take pics and post them.. The pics on my Camera phone doesn't do the paint job any justice at all.. I also need to wax/polish it since it just got color sanded.

Yea, from what I hear its going to be a little bit before they release the 4GB version or even 3GB versions...
I am just going to use my 6950 xfire for now until they come out with one.... I don't want to buy the 2gb version since I want to use a single card and using 3 monitors I don't the Vram will be able to handle my 3 monitors to my liking or expectations...
I am just hoping that the 4GB models will have waterblocks so I can add it to my loop.

Here are some teaser pics of the case with my iphone, I will have the better pics up after I polish and use my DSLR.
But for now here are of the pics. I left the white on the inside to offset the it a little, but then everything is closed you can't any white until you look inside.

Maybe you should just go with the XFX 7970 BE reference design like I have. I know it's not as nice as the 680, but it is plenty fast, will run multiple monitors no problem, and there are a ton of awesome waterblocks for it. Just something to think about.

Yea, I have thought about that also.. But for right now, I am going to run what I have and make the change later.
The 7970 are great cards, but prices are going to drop on the cards with the 680 out so I am holding out to see what happens for that as well. Depends on how low it will drop too.

I do have someone offering me a 6990 single card for $400.00 and I've been thinking about it.
Trying to weight my options at this point. There are so many options out there... But for now the 6950 will do fine for a couple of months.

Yea, I am in no rush right now... I will be a few weeks maybe month before I complete this build.. I will start to bench test the MB and CPU soon, then start putting the Rads and fans into the case..

Good plan, Kenny. My guess is the 7970's will drop in price pretty soon after the 7990 is released. I sure hope so anyway. I want (which equals a need for me) another one.
