You can't isolate one incident and give a conclusion. It is user fault IMO. Tell me, you do use straight distilled water as coolant right?
Do you experience any galvanization?
Most people has the galvanization problems are the one using straight distilled water with PT Nuke or silver coil.
He was talking about cpu block.

CPU block I plan on using my Apogee HD or my XT Rev.2 not the Koolance block.
My HD that was from my 800D is installed in my wife's system now right now. I was looking at getting another HD block but in white, but I have a BRAND NEW XT rev.2 sitting here so I might just throw that on. I just need to see if my block has the screw for the 2011 mount.

RAM: OCZ Flex EX PC3-17000 12GB |

give Swiftech a call, they suppose to release M4 mounting screws for 2011.
CPU: Core i7 3930K |
M/B: ASRock X79 Extreme9 |
RAM: 64GBs Kingston Beast 2133MHz |
GPU: Two EVGA GTX 690s in Quad SLI |

If you have the new Apogee HD block you should have LGA2011 mounting

RAM: OCZ Flex EX PC3-17000 12GB |
GPU: Asus EAH5870 |

if he bought the HD when it first came out (before 2011 releases) then it doesn't include the M4 screws. I think he want to use the XT on the 2011.

I bought this block the first week of release.. didn't come with the screws for the 2011
Correcto! I am still debating on if I should just use the XT block or buy the HD block in White.. The HD block in white would go good with my TH10 case.. I can always sell the XT block.

03/07/12 - Just some updated on the build. I ordered the Intel i7-3820 CPU tonight and should get it in about a week or so. Asus Sabertooth MB should be here soon as well.
Tomorrow I am dropping the case off at my buddies shop to get some paint work done. I was planning on keeping the case white. But I decided not too and have the "Outside" of the case painted. The inside of the case will remain white, however I am looking to having my friend spray "Silver/Blue pearl" to the inside over the white and then clear coated to give it that Icey white look when lights are on and reflecting off the case. He's going to tell me tomorrow if its do able once looks at the case.
The outside I am not sure on color yet. He's going to show me come paint samples of some colors that will go nice and decide from there.. So we'll see what happens when I see him tomorrow. I am thinking of a Dark Metallic Pearl Blue or a steel blue with silver pearls. But ill see what happens.
Ill post some more updates when available.
