Case swap

Well this is my old dusty Haf 922 with my Hyper 212+ cooler.


switched to the 690ii advanced


switching out the hyper 212+ for an Asetek 570LX AIO watercooler.


doesnt come with fans so picked up 4 Evercool pwm fans rated at 2200rpm max


getting things ready to install in the case as i remove the bottom harddrive cage


installed the radiator in push/pull at the bottom as it wont really fit up top due to the thickness of the rad.


next the psu and the motherboard installed



got everything in though took me a while to figure out the retention ring. directions wasnt too detailed on much but figured it out from a youtube video.


everything up and running and loving this case. added a white led stick to show off the internals. and happy with the temps from the 570LX







Idle Temps 35 degrees celsius
Load Temps 50 degrees celsius on Prime95 Blend Test
Load Temps 53 degrees celsius on IBT on Maximum setting

thanks. cable management could be a bit a better but i was tired. but looks good enough for me

Cable management is the worst part of building a rig. I usually do cable management twice or three times before I'm happy with it.

i might redo it but for now im happy with it. it's better looking than it was in the Haf 922 though.

The pre sleeved cables from Corsair would look great in the case but the cost $100

You will love the 810! You get a really great case for the price. No other full tower offers that many features for the price, although the Trooper/Stryker comes pretty close. I still think the 810 is better, but I'm biased since I own one.

yeah the trooper/stryker will have issues fitting a 570lx push/pull in it
