Default Build log of "Unobtainable" - X79 in a white Bitfenix Prodigy

    Hi all

When I first saw the Prodigy I was sold, and knew I had to have one and make a killer transportable rig in it.
Only down size was the only option of a ITX motherboard with only one PCI-e slot and socket 1155.

And I believe I am/was not alone in the boat
BUT to the rescue a custom motherboard came in sight, which would allow me to make a much more powerfull system in the prodigy case.

So this will be the build log of what to me in some time was "Unobtainable".
Hope you like it, any suggestions is welcome

Thanks to the sponsors who have help me make this rig possible :

The Color Scheme of the board reminds me of biostar.... but then again Biostar doesn't make any ITX 2011 socket Mobos... So im not sure...

I recently did a Bitfenix Prodigy build as well.
I built one for the purpose of using it as a LanPC...But I also used it for my Hackintosh and Ubuntu OS loaded as well. A tri OS operating mini PC you can say.

    Worklog here.. http://forums.pureoverclock.com/work...tml#post131659

I can't wait to see what you do with this build... I love this little case

Well at first I thought it was a Rampage IV Gene, but the RAM slots are in the wrong spot (plus other things). Of course I am assuming it is micro atx, but it looks like a really odd shape, but that may just be the angle.

I think I found the motherboard..

    Its a Shuttle X79 2x PCIe-16x
2x watercooled GPU or 2x single slot GPU (like FirePro V7800 / V7800P / V7900). Is addition it has space for an mSATA + mPCIe slot, and better IHS compatibility due to wider card (24cm i/o 17cm)

Pretty Interesting set-up, I am def. going to keep an eye on your build log to see how this will be coming along.
