Default Worklog: Silverstone Raven RV02 - Project Red Raven

    Hey All,

It's time for another project, well actually this has been a case I have been working on silently for the last 4 months.
It's been a very very slow progress due to the fact that I have been so busy.

    Project will be called RedRaven

But last week I got parts of the case back from Paint (took 2 months due to the paint being a special order from Mercedez)
I have always been intrigued by the design on this case and its layout, not the same as you see with most cases out there.
I was able to pick up one used for a trade a while back and it had been sitting for a while. I finally had time to break it down and mod it a little bit.

This is what I am working with:

    Case: Silverstone Raven RV02
    Mobo: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
    CPU: AMD FX8350
GPU: MSI GTX650 Ti Boost (SLI)
    PSU: Corsair TX850M
Memory: AMD Gaming Memory 16GB 2133Mhz
    SSD: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB
HD: Seagate Momentus: 500GB 2.5" HD

    Cooling
    CPU: EK CSQ LTX Acetel
    GPU: Stock Cooler
    Mobo: EK CSQ Acetal
    Rad: Aquacomputer Airplex Revolution 360/420
    Pump: Swiftech MCP355
Red/Top: EK DDC top with 140mm CSQ Res
Fittings: Monsoon White 3/8" ID 1/2" OD
    Fans: Enermax TB white 120mm

    Case Mods:
Paint (exterior): I had my buddy paint the exterior of the case, Mercedez Benz, C63 AMG Steel Grey w/ Silver Pearls
    Interior: Factory Black

    Removed HD cage
    Removed Outter 5.25" Bay cage
    Removed Lower 180mm fan holders
Custom mounted Aquacomputer 360/420 Rad at bottom (drilled new holes and mounting points)
    Sleeved front panel cables
    Silent Padded Panels

    Future Mod:
    Finishing touches on the Exterior
Tint Window to Red or Smoke (undecided at this time)
    Custom White LED's
    Custom Fan Controller
    SSD Mount Panel

I haven't had allot of time to work on it. Everything you see here is from a process of the last 3 or 4 months.
hopefully will get some work done slowly for the next LAN event for the Mod Contest.

    Update 08.08.13 -
So over the last few days (in-between reviews) I have been test fitting everything and trying to see how I like the layout.
I didn't have allot of time, spending maybe only 15 or 20 mins here and there when i get home from work or between dinner and spending time with the wife.

Here is what I have so far, I am still debating on if I want to re-install my motherboard water block or not... I think I will, just to give it a better aesthetic look.

    Update 08.10.13

So I had finished this build a couple of months ago. I just never got around to posting pics.
Here are the final install pics, this build only sat in this case for maybe 2 months during the time I was using it.
I ended up needing to pull this out and the board and chip is back on my test bench for other reasons.
