Geralt, don't you guys have snow in Ireland? I see you hung your cloth (hardware) on the close line, if I want to do some painting I have to wait until summer and it's definately no painting indoor even if have a basement. You can smell the fume and you can getting stone on that for couple days

nope no snow what so ever. We had couple of frosty days this week but it was dry frost. Now last year it was snowing... for an hour ...... and then after two itwas gone ... sunny south east of ireland

edit: do you know how to recognize that its winter in Ireland??

Nah We don't do winter here Deton, at least not the way you know it. for me and I guess Geralt kinda lives in a similar situation The Gulf Stream (no we don't have private jets) means that winter rarely gets to much below freezing, just wet and windy. Further north and east maybe but in the south west and west not so much snow

I used to enjoy skiing too

    You guys are lucky.
Sometimes it is nice to see big flakes of snow fall unless a big snow stome or temp drop -20ish then no fun.

Where I live (Eastern Canada), I already have first snow fall of 20cm last weekend already and more coming this week...hoorayyy. The funny thing is the city where Skyguy lives (where I work) is only 30min drive away, it has no snow at all.

Sorry for getting of this thread.

@kagander: thanks!! Thats actually good project name as well so maybe Golden armour aka Midas Touch??

@crazd: first is the CPU block coz it simply needs more colling than gpu

so just to detail my WC setup atm:

    pump (TTp500)>>rad (qp320)>>CPU (GTZ)>>GPU(EK)>>res

Geralt...i like the color u chose...and nice paint job

By the way how did the GTZ improve your Temps performance? I remember the last time u said
it was hitting high 60s or 70s with the new Rad from Swiftech ?

right ummm, last time i tested it it was around 65 average on the cores under full load.

I humbly hope that when i get new pump it will improve my temps..... coz atm my flow rate is probably around 0.5 GPM and new pump would boost it to around 1.7 GPM sooo acorrding to martinsliquidlab and swiftech rad diagram that equals greater heat dissipation as well.... oh well we'll see

If you have flow rate less than 1GPM then it's weak.
65c load is a little tad high with your overclocked spec, especially you have your Vcore at 1.5x voltage. That's higher than most of Q6600 with E0 stepping owners.

You probably won't get 1.7GPM with the new pump, perhaps around 1.4-1.5GPM but this still good though.

I wish i had E0 unfortunatelly i have G0 with VID 1.325 sooo AFAIK its quite normal for that particular chip to be 1.5V on 3.6 Ghz

edit: i used to martinsliquidlab flow estimator which gave me such reult

P.S. the pump i'm getting is laing ddc1+ (18W) with xspc res top
